My greatest gift is to inspire my clients to take control of their own health—physically, emotionally and spiritually—and then see how these changes transform how they feel about themselves. It is a joy for me to support them on their path to the life that they deserve.
Of particular interest to athletes, perhaps, is that I began running at the age of 37, when my children were young, and became a competitive masters runner for 10 years at distances ranging from 5K to marathon. I have also trained and competed in numerous triathlons. During this time, I began coaching cross-country running, beginning at the elementary level and moving up to high school—all spanning 15 years. I am currently an assistant cross-country running coach at Greely High School right here in Cumberland Center, Maine.
Nutrition, health, stretching and strengthening are all areas that I have spent many years studying. I currently practice Tai Chi, Yoga, and Meditation as ways to balance my own active lifestyle. In addition, I believe in many forms of alternative medicine as well as conventional medicine as ways of healing.
